In Search of Wisdom

Well I've been searching for wisdom. Praying for it really and the first thing I.ve learned is that I need wisdom...big time. And I've also learned that God is giving me opportunities to gain wisdom in many ways.One of which is the people that he has put in my life. I got together with some friends tonight for dinner and I was humbled at the wisdom that was spoken there.This group of guys was just chatting about church and life and the wisdom that they shared was amazing. And they probably don't even realize how wise they are. I'm beginning to understand that God doesn't just go POOF and we are brilliant, no he puts the wisdom in our face and its up to us to grab it, to attain it to... soak it up. As I start this Quest I have keep looking back through my life and remembering wise people that I ignored and lessons that I didn't learn.I didn't learn because I thought I did not need to. and I think about many chances to gain wisdom I've wasted but the reality is in the God picture I probably wasn't ready to learn at that point any way. I 'm now going to start looking at things in a different way. I think I'll listen more ,and ask questions even if people might think of me as a fool its ok because if you want wisdom you ask God for and then be humble enough to look...listen... and soak it up dude
